Is there anyone out there not tired of the Internet, of the way we use it to manipulate (ok, influence) and sell and “grow your business”? Does anyone use Internet for positive change anymore? And what is positive and negative? What’s Good and Bad? Personally, I am tired of (Romanian) Online Bullshit.

Well, I wanna see more of the nice side of Romania. Really. I wanna see it everywhere, not just here. I am tired of Romania as we know it and see it every single day. I am tired to see empty pocket average people alongside convertibles and 4-hooks suited gens, see f*cked up teenagers with no future alongside shmuks with attitude, see poverty across from luxury and kitsch-packed shopping venues (aka the malls).

My former domain has been hacked.

Last week, I decided to give up womanchild85 DOT blogspot DOT com and turn it into womanchildisdead.blogspot.com, to announce my moving to a new blog address. Someone with a wicked mind thought it would be cool to turn womanchild85 into a suitable place for… porn. They duplicated my template and took out one post to put on display, then placed some adult finder and… voila! you’ve got content. I have a name in mind and deeper implications that go along, but will leave it at that. NOT worth my time.

So here’s a disclaimer: I DECLINE ANY INVOLVEMENT WITH THAT SITE and will no longer sign anything on blogspot.com under this nickname. Womanchild IS dead and so it will stay. I moved the content of my former blog in here. As soon as I get some time, I’ll fix the listing plus edit or remove some older posts.

Ca sa nu mai incapa dubii ca este un om modern si la curent cu mediul online in care tocmai a pasit cu succes, blogărul Ion Iliescu si-a facut profil pe Blogzoner. Urmeaza Facebook? Pe Twitter nu mai este.

mami.ro, natgeo.ro si lyceum.ro sunt site-urile castigatoare la categoriile “Lifestyle”, “Stiinta si tehnologie”, “Educatie si cultura”, iar Sanoma Hearst si Next Step Developments sunt cei doi clienti Green Pixel care le-au inhatat.

UPDATE:
In mod curios, Green Pixel apare listata pe locul IV in topul web-agentiilor anului, desi - incepand din 2004 - ne-am declinat oficial participarea. Marius Deak, CEO Green Pixel, face lumina, sustinand cu fermitate ca “Organizatorii Internetics ar trebui sa-si ceara scuze”.
