10 random facts about Diana

with 4 comments

1) Had my 1st blog back in 2004, when the thing had just started growing in Romania. It came out inspired by Constantin Basturea’s Global PR Blog Week and an interview of Mike Manuel (Media Guerrilla) that appeared in the PRIME Europe newsletter.*

2) Never owned a pet. I’m actually afraid of dogs (and spiders) & allergic to cats. And I couldn’t have the time to take care of them anywayz.

3) Like sushi & marinated raw fish. I could eat those forever. On my prolonged list of likes: Tex-Mex, Italian, anything spicy/ crispy/ sweet.

4) Am a sworn chocolate addict (black, 75-80% cocoa). If rehab didn’t do it, nothing can.

5) Have 7 dresses in my closet I don’t wear anymore. I keep them for what if’s sake. Also, an impressive collection of sweaters & tees, same reason. Thinking of giving them away to charity.

Si dupa toate astea

Hello, Romania! Vienna here.

Dec 1st: Romania’s National B-Day.

While others celebrate in a very traditional manner (”mici” & beer included), I escaped for Vienna on a blitz-trip: hopping on the train without any previous arrangements. A friend popped the question in the last minute and I was feeling too low not to say YES to what would be the greatest adventure of the year. Adrian Ciubotaru got anchored in it too, for he was already in Vienna for about a week. We met today in Stephansplatz around 10:45 AM local time, in front of Stephansdom. Then, me & Adi & Bogdan Florescu (the friend who dragged me into this impromptu voyage) had a great time strolling through the “gassen” and “strassen aus Wien”.

I enjoyed pulling up a few German words, as my speech was getting rusty. We saw the majority of things that could be seen near and around Stephansplatz plus a little farther, then took the U-bahn (the witty underground and upperground train system I so loved about Vienna) to reach various sights. Because I am too lazy to name them now, I’ll do it as soon as I get a chance to go through the brochures & city-plan I got. Goodnite & enjoy the rest of your weekend.

PS: Womanchild is NOT dead but slowly moving here. Stay tuned!
